Island (2022)

This artwork refers to the importance of dreaming and believing in your potential and that the impossible in most situations is quite possible, if we strive for it. When creating the idea for this work of art, I was reminded of the story of Robinson Crusoe. A young sailor who decided to go on an adventure without telling anyone. After being caught in a big storm that damaged his ship, he was stranded on an island. Even in this situation, he was given two choices: give up and go with the tide, or fight for your life. This adventure, based on his decisions, became the greatest learning experience of his life. In any situation, we always have at least two choices. The consequences are always unpredictable, we cannot predict what the exact result of our actions will be. However, it is absolutely certain that we will always learn at least one lesson, regardless of the outcome. The worst decision is to stay inactive because of the fear of making mistakes. Mistakes are fundamental lessons and experiences for our growth as professionals and human beings.
